Rantz the Ogre needs to feed his demanding children, Fycie and Bugs so he wants to go Big Chompy Bird hunting.
Problem is, he's all fingers and thumbs when it comes to making ogre arrows. Could someone please give him a hand.

Rantz wants a 'chompy' to eat
Talk to Rantz, he's southeast of Yanelle. He'll ask you to make some 'stabbers' (arrows). You have to make your own for Rantz, you can't use any you find or are given.

(stabbers) First you need to make shafts from an Achey tree. You can find Achey trees just west of Rantz. Use the knife on the logs to make arrow shafts. (You get 2 to 6 shafts per log.)

Next go kill a few wolves and take the bones. You will need to use a chisel on the bones to make some tips. (You get 2 to 6 tips per set of bones.)

Talk to Rantz again, he will basically tell you you'll need bait for the 'chompys'. You need to get bloated swamp toads, but the ones in the nearby swamp are too small, but Bugs and Fycie knows how to make them bigger.

Fycie and Bugs are in a cave just north of Rantz. Talk to them and they will tell you that they used to use bellows to inflate the toads with swamp gas, but thier father locked up the bellows they used in a chest.

The chest is in the northwest corner of the room. Just click it to open it, it can take more than one try to move the rock off of it. If you fail it may make you drop items so keep an eye on them.

Once you have the bellows, go to the nearby swamp (southwest of cave) and use the bellows on the swamp bubbles to fill it for 3 shots. The easiest place to fill it seems to be on the south side.

Now use the bellows on the little toads jumping around to make bloated toads. Once you have a few, go back to Rantz.

Talk to Rantz again he'll tell you where to put the bloated toad to lure the Chompy.

He shoots and misses then complains of your arrows. (Sometimes you have to walk back towards the bait to get him to shoot.) Tell him you would like to try. He's reluctant to let someone as small as you try the big ogre bow, but be persistant and he will give you his spare bow.

Drop another toad where Rantz showed you and shoot the chompy you attract (there will be an arrow over it). Some people told me it took them a few tries. I got it on the first shot at 70 ranged.

Once you killed a Chompy, take the carcass back to Rantz, he'll insist you cook it, because he messed up his last one, but you need some more ingredients. He wants a certain ingredient, but so do Fycie and Bugs, so you'll need to talk to them to see what they want too.
I think that this part can be a bit random from what I've seen people asking for, but here's what they wanted for me and locations of several ingredients.

Bugs wanted Equa leaves
Onions are just west of the cave.
Doogle leaves are west of the swamp.
Cabbage are east of Rantz.
Equa Leaves are south of Rantz.
Tomatoes are west of swamp on bench by ogre.
Onions, Cabbage, and Tomatoes can be found together just south west of the swamp pool south west of Rantz.

Once you have all the ingredients, use the bird on the ogre spit over the fire just north of Rantz. Talk to Rantz again.
