Rogue Trader Mini Quest Guide
(This is a Members Runescape feature)
Once you finish The Feud Quest Ali Morrisane has a few people he would like you to make deals with for his buisness. After you complete the quest talk to him again. He will mention someone and where they are. You must also complete the Icthlarin's Little Helper Quest to finish this mini-quest.
Once you have completed all of the tasks Ali Morrisane asks you to do, you will get to the options to shop with him much faster. You will also be able to buy a variety of Blackjacks, clothing, and Runes from Ali Morrisane and travel on the magic carpets for half price.
Aubury
Blackjack Seller
Siamun
Aubury
Ali Morrisane wants to sell runes at his shop. He wants you to talk to Aubury in Varrock about suppling him with runes. Head to Varrock. Aubury is located south of Varrock's eastern bank (he is the one that teleports to the Rune Essence). Talk to Aubury. You will have to do a bit of convincing to get him to agree to the deal. After the deal is made, go and talk to Ali Morrisane again. He will compliment you on making the deal with Aubury. Ask him to see the selections of runes. He will tell you that he is having trouble with the locks.
You will be given an option to check out the small or large casket of runes, choose one. NOTE: It may be easier to practice a few times on the small casket puzzle before trying the large one.
Your next options will be to:
Force Box
Pick Lock
Examine Lock
The best way to make sure you get the option to buy the Runes is to examine the lock. The other two rarely work. When you examine the lock you will be shown a puzzle.
Small Puzzle
The puzzle board is a 4x4 grid broken into yellow and orange sections. Along the bottom will be runes and a circled 'x'. The object is to fill the grid with runes so that there is only one of each rune in each row (across and down), also in each color section (yellow or orange). Some of the runes will already be in place, these can not be moved. To place a rune, click on it and then on a place in a grid. Runes that you place into the grid will be marked with a yellow 1 in the upper left corner of the square. To remove a rune that you have place, click on the circled 'x' and then the rune. When you think you have solved the puzzle correctly, click on the Open Casket button. If you are right you will be given an option to buy the runes in the casket, without knowing what they are, for a discounted price (usually about 600 to 700gp) or see what the runes are before you buy. Below are pictures of the small puzzle at the start and finished. If you get stuck on a puzzle, can't figure it out, or mess up, you can close the window and talk to Ali Morrisane to try again.

Large Puzzle
The puzzle board is a 9x9 grid broken into yellow and orange sections. Along the left side will be runes and a circled 'x'. If you are right you will be given an option to buy the runes in the casket, without knowing what they are, for a discounted price (usually about 30000 to 55000gp) or see what the runes are before you buy.
This puzzle is a lot tougher then the small puzzle. The best stratagy I found is to go section by section (yellow and orange) first to see what runes you can place and then go row by row. Keep repeating... Sometimes using the process of elimination helps, knowing where a rune can't go in one row can help with another row. If you get stuck on a puzzle, can't figure it out, or mess up, you can close the window and talk to Ali Morrisane to try again.

Blackjack Seller
Go to Pollnivneach. Look for the Blackjack Seller, just north of the Camel Seller. Talk to him about a proposal. You will eventually tell him that Ali Morrisane wants him to make a larger variation of Blackjacks. He will not like the idea at first, as he is happy with what he is already making, he just needs some convincing. Say that you need to come up with a cunning plan. A Street Urchin will call to you, go and talk to him. He wants to help you get the Blackjack Seller make more Blackjacks. He will ask for 100gp for his help, agree to pay. Talk to the Blackjack Seller again. The Street Urchin will steal a Blackjack and will take a glancing blow to the head. Talk to the Blackjack Seller again. This time he will complain about the urchin and agree to make a new variety of Blackjacks. These Blackjacks will have better defensive qualities and be marked with a (d).
Ali Morrisane will ask you to talk to the Blackjack Seller again for a different variety of Blackjacks. If you talk to the Blackjack Seller again it will change the Blackjacks back to (a) better attack Qualities.
This time when you talk to the Blackjack Seller you will have to convince him to hit you with the Blackjack. He will agree that if you can take two hits he will make a different variety of Blackjacks, agree to do it. He will hit you twice. It is possible to be knocked out while doing this, if that happens just try again. Once you are still standing after the second hit he will agree to make the Blackjacks. When you talk to Ali Morrisane again the Blackjacks will be (a).
You can change them between (a) and (d) as often as you want, when ever you want, just talk to the Blackjack Seller and do the same things again.
Below are the Blackjacks you can buy:

Siamun
Clothing Deal Must have completed Icthlarin's Little Helper Quest
If you have not finished Icthlarin's Little Helper Quest, Ali Morrisane will only tell you that he wanted to be a draper and that he knows someone in Sophane that could help but no one can enter or leave the city.
Once you finish the quest he will tell you that he wants you to convince Siamun to supply him with merchandise to sell. Head to Sophane, look for Siamun, south east of the entrance. Talk to him about supplying Ali Morrisane with his garments. He will ask you to bring him 3 dyes or 3 animal pelts. The dyes should be the same color. For the animal pelts you could get cowhides, wolf fur, snake skin, or wool, and should be all the same kind. He will not accept certs or bank notes.
You can get dyes made in Pollnivneach. Talk to Ali the Dyer in the north eastern most building. She charges:
- For red: 3 Redberries and 25gp per dye
- For yellow: 2 Onions and 25gp per dye
- For blue: 2 Woad leaves and 25gp per dye
It would be cheaper to have Aggie in Draynor Village make them. Aggie will require the same ingredients buy only 5gp per dye.
Give the items to Saimun, he will agree to start sending shipments. Talk to Ali Morrisane again. He will ask you to convince Siamun to send a different variety of clothing. This time when you talk to Siamun, he will ask you for the opposite of what you took him the first time to change the shipments, pelts if you gave him dyes or dyes if you gave him pelts. Give him what he asked for. Talk to Ali Morrisane again to buy the different clothes. You can switch back and forth between styles of clothing when ever you want, just talk to Siamun again and give him the items he asks for.
These clothes do not add anything to stats, they are for decoration only. The clothes you can buy are:
