(Ruby shown)
Making jewelry requires gold or silver ore, a mould for the item you wish to make (purchased at a crafting store), and a gem if you would like. Making jewelry can also help boost your mining and smithing levels if you mine and smelt your own ore. Using silver you can make the Holy Symbol of Saradomin and the Unholy Symbol of Zamorak. Gems cannot be added to silver. Using gold you can make rings, necklaces, and amulets, these can be with or without gems. Adding gems makes the Crafting level requirements go up. Amulets and rings with gems can be enchanted using magic. Once enchanted, they do different things; such as add to your Attack Bonuses or teleport you places. (See Amulets, Rings, & Necklaces)
To make jewelry, go to a furnace, click on the ore in your inventory, then the furnace; this makes a bar. Then click on the bar and then the furnace again. You will get a screen asking what you would like to make, click on your choice.
If you have all of the things needed for an item, including a high enough crafting level, it will be shown in color. If your Crafting level is not high enough or if you do not have the items needed make an item, it is shown without color or blacked out.

A Ball of Wool will appear in your inventory. Making Balls of Wool gives you 2.5 Crafting experience each.

Flax Plant
Level 10 Crafting is required to make Bow String. To make Bow String you need to find a Flax Plant. Pick the flax and then find a spinning wheel. Pottery
- Items needed:
Clay
Bucket
or
Soft Clay
Pottery is made from clay. For pottery you will need clay, a bucket, and water. Making pottery can also help boost your mining if you mine your own clay. The items you can make from clay are bowls, pie shells, and pots. To make pottery, first you need to mine clay, and then find a water source, such as a sink or a fountain. To fill your bucket with water, click on the bucket in your inventory, then the water source. Next click on the water, then the clay to turn it into soft clay. Once you have made all of your clay into soft clay, find a Potter's Wheel. When you get there, click on the soft clay, then on the Potter's Wheel. You will get a message asking what you would like to make, click on your choice. When all of your clay is made into pottery, you need to bake it, find a pottery oven to do this. Once there click on the item in your inventory you wish to bake, then on the oven. Not all pottery will make it out the oven at first; some of it will crack during baking. Less pottery will crack as your Crafting level rises.
