- Craft them (see Crafting)
- Buy or pick up Beer and drink them to empty the glasses
- Glasses also respawn in some places
- 5 glasses respawn in the bar in Brimhaven
A hollowed out Calquat Fruit can be used instead of glasses. They are used the same way and will hold 4 glasses worth.

Cider
- Items needed:
16 Apples
Ale Yeast
4 empty Buckets
Level 14 Cooking is required to make Cider and you gain 182 experience. Use the apples with the Apple Barrel. You will automatically smash them by jumping up an down on them (pretty funny animation) and then full the bucket. This makes Apple Mush. No experience is gained for making Apple Mush.
- Use the Apple Mush with the Fermenting Vat (You must have all 4 buckets of Apple Mush to add.)
- Use the Ale Yeast with the Fermanting Vat
Now the Cider will start to ferment. Once it has finished fermenting, turn the Valve to drain the Cider into the barrel, this is when you gain the experience. Use an empty Beer Glass with the barrel to get the Cider out. You will get 8 glasses full. The effects of drinking Cider are: -3 Attack, -3 Strength, +1 Hitpoint.
(NOTE: If you try to use the valve before the cider has finished fermenting, you will drain the vat and not gain any experience. You will be asked to confirm your choice.)

Bad Cider/Ale
Cider and Ale can turn bad while it is brewing. When this happens, the cider or ale in the vat will turn a green color and when examined it will say "This vat is filled with bad ale". If this happens, turn the valve to drain the vat into the barrel and then click the barrel to drain it. It can not be put into glasses. No experience is gained for draining bad cider or ale.
