A Fairy Tale Part II - Cure a Queen Quest

The Fairy Queen should be awake and back in charge of the Lost City by now, but what is happening in Zanaris? Why hasn't the Fairy Godfather abdicated the throne?

What is happening to all the fairy inhabitants and where has Fairy Nuff gone? Can you rise to the challenge of using the Fairy rings to search the other planes and Cure the Queen, in the second part of the Fairy Tale trilogy?

Start Point:
Martin the Master Gardener, just north of the village square in Draynor Village.
To Start:
Speak to Martin (do not pickpoket him)

  • Quests:
    • Must have completed A Fairy Tale Part I - Growing Pains
  • Levels:
    • Level 57 Herblore
    • Level 49 Farming
    • Level 40 Thieving
  • Also useful:
    • Ability to defeat a level 145 foe

Pestle & Mortar
Water Filled Vial
Pots (optional super set, prayer)
Food
Armor
Weapon
Dramen Staff

  1. Head to Draynor and speak to Martin the Master Farmer. (DO NOT pickpoket him or you will have to wait till he will talk to you) He will tell you that crops still dying and for you to fix the mess. (If he first mentions last quest just talk to him again)

  2. Head to Zanaris and go check out the place where Fairy Nuff use to be when you finished last fairy quest. (CUTSCENE) Take the certificate off the floor. Check it to read the back. Head south to the fairy chef and she will mention a plaque on the wall in the area with the cosic alter.
    ( Done)

  3. On the south wall from the alter you will see it and the symbols actually turn out saying "Cosmic Rune Alter", you use these symbols and look on the code on the back of the certificate and replace the symbols with the letters... It will translate to:

    "The godfather attacked us. We have fled to safety. If you are loyal to her majesty, find us by using coordinates air, dlr, djq ajs"

  4. Go speak to the Godfather and the only way he gives you permission to use the fairy rings is if you agree to come get him when you find the queen. Once you agree go talk to the fairy north of there the coordinator to learn more about the rings.

  5. Now head to the fairy ring near the fountains and go in this order:
    (be sure to have your armor and weapons and such on you now)
    • ckp - and pick starflower you will need later
    • dir - kill a gorak for a claw you need later (you may be able to attack one without leaving ring and if so you won't be harmed, but for me I was not that lucky so I drank my supers and equipped my weapon and turned on protect from melee and fought 2 before I got the claw. The gorak is able to hit through the prayer now and then and highest it hit me for was 15)
    • air - use fairy ring
    • dlr - use fairy ring
    • djq - use fairy ring (you appear a few step from the ring)
    • ajs - follow path to the other side and talk to Fairy Nuff, use ring

  6. Once back go pickpocket the Godfather to get the queen's secetuers. If you get caught he tosses you out in the swamp area. Keep trying till you get them.

  7. Be sure to have the pestle and mortar and the waterfilled vial along with the flower and claw. Head back to the Fairy ring and repeat:
    • air
    • dlr
    • djq
    • ajs
    To return to Fairy Nuff. Give her the seceteurs and she says the queen been asleep too long and ask you to make a potion. Use the starflower with the vial, then grind the claw with the pestle and mortar and then use the dust with the vial to make Magic Essence. Use this one the Queen and she will awaken.

  8. Speak to the queen to hear what she remembers and she will award you with an exp lamp. QUEST COMPLETE!
