Hundreds of years ago a mineral was found that had the ability to change the property of magic.
The magicians, fearing the effect this may have on their profession, sealed this workshop forever; or so they had hoped. See if you can rediscover the lost knowledge of elemental ore.

Search the bookcases

Items needed:
Head to the Seer's Village. Go into the house just south of the anvils, search the bookcases. You will find the Battered book, read it.
Step is Complete.

Use a knife or dagger with the Battered book. You will find a Battered key.
Step is Complete.

Go north to the building with the anvils. Use the Battered key with the 'Odd looking wall', then go down the staircase.
Step is Complete.

Go into the northern room, you will see a Water wheel near the center of the room. There will be Water Elementals (level 34) around. Turn the Water valve on the east side of the room. Then, turn the Water valve on the west side of the room. Now, pull the Lever near the center of the Water wheel. The Water wheel will start up.

Go into the eastern room, you will see Bellows in the southern part of the room. There will be Air Elementals (level 34) around. Right click on the Bellows, then click Fix. The needle, thread, and leather will be used automatically.

Now you need a Stone Bowl. Start searching the boxes and crates. The location of the stone bowl seems to be random, so search in all of the rooms until you find it. (For me it was in the boxes in the eastern small area with crumbling walls of the center room.)

Go into the southern room. You will see a Lava Trough in the southern part of the room and a Furnace in the eastern part of the room. There will be Fire Elementals (level 35) around.

Use the Stone Bowl with the Lava Trough, you will fill the bowl with lava. Then use the lava filled bowl with the Furnace.

Go into the western room. You will see 'Piles of Rock' (they are purple and brown), try to mine it. An Earth Elemental (level 35) will appear and attack you, kill it and take the Elemental ore.

Go back into the southern room, use the Elemental ore with the Furnace. You will get an Elemental metal bar.

Go north into the center room. Use the Elemental metal with the Workbench (looks like anvils on a table) near the center of the room.
