Monk's Friend Quest Guide

A monk's child has had their blanket stolen. Find the thieves' den and return the blanket, then help Brother Omad organise the drinks for the child's birthday party.

Start point:

Monastery south of Ardougne

Speak to Brother Omad

Weapon (if desired)

1. Talk to Brother Omad (in a building south of East Ardougne, the building has 2 circle shaped rooms). Ask him why he can't sleep, then ask if you can help.
   
   Step is Complete.

2. To get the blanket, leave the building then head west. South of the Clock Tower you should see a circle of stones (does not show up on the map), walk into the circle. A ladder will appear, go down it.

3. The enemies here are Thieves (level 14) and the Head Thief (level 26). Follow the tunnel, take the first branch to the south. You should see a Child's Blanket laying on a table, take it. Go back and talk to Brother Omad.

4. Talk to Brother Omad again. Ask about Brother Cedric, then ask where you should look.
   
   Step is Complete.

5. To find Brother Cedric, leave the building then head north and a bit east (just south of the Camels in the Ardougne Zoo).

6. Talk to Brother Cedric, he will ask you for some water. ( NOTE: If you did not bring a jug, you can buy one in Port Khazard for 1gp. ) Talk to him again to give him the water. Tell him that you will help fix the cart. Cut a few trees and then talk to Brother Cedric again.

7. Head back and talk to Brother Omad again. You will be rewarded. Then a party will begin, complete with a balloon drop.
