They are mixed different each time. I don't think it would help much....

I find it easiest if you drop the puzzle box, then talk to whoever gave you the puzzle box again. They'll give you a new one, and sometimes itll be practically finished. Cheap, yes, but it gets the job done.

I got one from a guard will probably get an addy dagger because I have no done dragon slayer so I cannot go onto crandor and that is were the coordinates are located

Mmm, I had a tresure trail and i found, that I am far too stupid to figure out how to use the navigation.

Well, firstly you gotta get the chart,sextant, etc. Afterwards, ALWAYS remember the observatory is consider 0,0 by 0,0 (basically the starting point on any co-ordinate)

The site has a Treasure Trail guide which you may want to look into. Get yourself a better view on things.

I got a Lv1 scroll from a Rock Crab, the reward after 2 easy go to X and do Y clues was 86 low level runes and studded body. My friend got trout, black helm, and some runes from the same guys. Apparently the best thing anyone has gotten is 10 bloods.

Are guards my best bet for higher level scrolls; and how often do you get them from guards; and do Fally guards have a higher chance then Ardougne guards(etc.)?

Level 1 Clue Scrolls- Men, Women, Goblins, Al Kharid Warriors, Barbarians, Barbarian Women, Theifs. Few others.
Rewards: Anything black. Any black (t) or (g). Wizard boots, low level runes. Willow bows, studded bodys and chaps. And Highway Man masks.

Level 2 Clue scrolls- Guards, Jogres, Man (mortanyia), Paladins, Ice Warriors, Vampires and Tribesmen.
Rewards: Any regular addy, (t) or (g). Ranger boots. Yew short bows and longs. Green dragonhide peices. Berets, Mid-level runes.

Level 3 CLue Scrolls- Greater Demons, Blue Dragons, Green Dragons, Red Dragons, Black Dragons, KBD, Wolfmen/women, Elf Warriors and Hellhounds. May be others.
Rewards: Any regular rune, (t) or (g) And 'gilded' now. Prayer book pages, Cavaliers, Robin Hood hats. God armor, High level runes. And Pirate hats.

Basically, the higher lvl the clue, the harder. Higher the lvl clue, the harder to get. There is no set amount of a certain monster to kill before it drops. Wealth rings _Do Not_ help. Its all about luck.

I got a yew shortbow, 9lobbys, addy platemail skirt(g) and ranger boots, feeel so blessed, and the observatory quest ve me black 2handeer

The Lv1 Scroll I got had 3 clues with a reward of Black(t) legs, Zammy pg3 (which I sold for 80K), and about 120 low level runes. My brother got a Lv1 as well, he got Black(g) Platebody and some fish. Im thinking about moving up into Lv2's, where is a good place to get them from? (Are guards my best bet?)

And are Ranger boots and the robin hood hat tradeable?

yeah, i know ranger boots are i already traded them lol, and im sure robin hood's are also, and i use gaurds although i havent been getting them lately

You can only get Robin Hood hats from lvl 3 clues, and yes, theyre tradeable. So long as its on a member world.

Boots are 600kish. Robin Hood hats are 2.8ish, if I remember right.

You'll need to look for a town with a central fountain. Look for a locked chest in the town's chapel.
Go to the church in Varrock, try to open the chests in the north eastern room. You will get a message saying:
"The chest is locked!
An inscription on the chest says:
"Property of Black Heather.""
Go to the Bandit Camp, at about level 23 of the Wilderness, north and a bit west of Edgville. Kill Black Heather (level 34), she will drop a key, take it. Go back to the church in Varrock and open the chest again.


except the chest says property of the clocktower monastery...
It isnt kojos clocketower, so where is it?

Go to the building south east of the Clock Tower, it's an odd shape like two circles together. Kill one of the monks to get a key. Then go and open the chest again.
