Broken Rune Pick Ax

At this point I am on my way to buyign a new rune pick ax.. for my rune pick ax is BROKEN!! UGH!! Yeah broken.. I wa smining coal and it ignite gases and the explosion broke my pick ax and gave me some damage. HMMFF.

Anyhow when I examine the broken pick ax it says:
Nurmof can fix this for me

so I will see if I can have it fixed or if I have to buy a new one.

Nurmof is the drawf who sells pick axes in the drawven mines :) He can repair it for 1100 coins :)

And it is repaired :)

Wow that's cool, stuff can break, I wonder if swords and such can break against shields, or if Armour can get broken....that is reall really cool

I saw a few days ago that Nurmof could fix picks now. I thought that maybe they changed it so the picks would wear out, guess not :) I think I may be seeing that message quite a bit :)

yeah when it happened I am like whats wrong with the rocks.. they started what I thought was steam at first.. then a spark and it came up that my ax made a spark and ignited the gases from the rocks and it exploded and it hurt me and ruined my pick ax. *sighs* but it was neat to see, won't care to see that to often... but at least 1100 to fix is not bad compared to buyign a brand new one each time :)

I'll bet it was pretty neat. Very true, 1100 is a lot better then buying a new pick. How much damage did it do to your character?

I think so. But hey, at least I get to use my rune pick now. In RS1 I was using a mith one.

I myself do not find much difference in using an addy pic over a rune pic. I mean in RS2 it might be handy since you can attack with your pic I believe. Though in RS1 it really doesn't help much IMO. Is that the reason you use rune in RS2 shay?

They have said that in RS2 the better the pick, the better your chance of getting ore. But then again, like in RS1, I will be trying out the other picks too to see what works best/fastest for me.

My pick head just flew off, I had to find it, pick it up and use it with the handle...that fixed it.

I broke my addy pick, so I went to that guy, and I tried to get him to fix it, but he says that it's not a pickaxe?? what's with that!

Try doing as I did, use pickaxe head with handle. while both are in your inventory.

mine broke and it was gay....i tried fixing it but the dumb dwarf was like "give me your pickaxe and i'll fix it" and the only option left was "CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE" so i clicked it and nothing happened...tried it a bunch of times and nothing worked...so i got mad and just bought a new one
