ok well i was playing and an old man popped up and took me to a place( now ive never gone to the mime place b4 so i was confused i followed his instruction and then got telled back to where i was....my ? is is a mime mask(which is what i got) tradable and do i need all the pieces to preform the emote because it wouldn't let me with just the mask

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I understand it.

When you're mimed, you either gain a mime-emote or a piece of clothing. When I was mimed I got the glass box emote, you where mimed and you got a mask. The more times you get mimed, the more emotes/mime clothing you gain.

Also, I'm next to positive the mime mask is untradable.

Eregion is correct about the mime clothing/emotes. Ocassionally you can get one that gives several pieces at once. As he said they are untradable.

Emotes from mimes:
Lean (Raise shield-side arm, lean on that side)
Glass Wall (Arms go up infront, hands appear to be touching wall)
Glass Box (Shield arm goes out, weapon arm goes up) *think, been a while*
Climb Rope (Arms go infront, move as if climbing rope; body sways with arm motion)

I've seen what the mime mask looks like in the inv. screen and I must say I got chills the first time.

He meant that if you have all the mime clothes and emotes, when you get sent to the mime again you get 500gp since you can't get anything else (since you've maxed the emotes and mime clothing). I don't know if that's true or not, but it sounds plausible.

The glass box emote is like the glass wall, your character touches imaginary walls on either side, above, and in front of him.
