I want to get this quest done and was wanting some suggestions on what lvl i should have my theiving, agility, and combat.

It did it at lvl-36 agility and about killed myself several times over. Lvl-50 is recommended.

In the end I actually got out with 6-8 lobs left, but it was a close thing. I was lucky.

50 theiving is great for that one gate, it helps you get past a really annoying part.

I'd recommend lvl 35-ish agility (50 takes a LONG time to get), I did ok with 28.

As for combat, as long as you can weild a dragon sword, and have protect from melee (or good food) you should be ok.

You must have been lucky too, I was with a lvl-94 at the time and he had lvl-31 agility I think, and he had to tele out because he fell so many times and took so much damage he ran out of food. Heck, he had tons more hit points than me and he had actually brought SHARKS. (each time you fail an agility obstacle later on in the quest you fall and take 18-20 damage, and you have to start all over from the beginning of the course).
