i have seen him around farming plots but he wont talk to me and teleports in and out like the mysterious old man. im guessing he is a farming random occurance but what does he do?

hes a random event.. hes a pirate who says tht u hav treasure in ur farming plot..he gives u a puzzle...get it rite he splits the treasure wit u..i dont kno wat happens wen u get it wrong though

No, if you get it wrong you get teleported to some random location on the map.

you also get teleported if you tell him you dont have time to help him.

Ive seen people getting teleported away, leaving a crowd of people laughing their butts off at them. A wonderful lot these people are!
