When you follow the link for the Runescape Guides (http://www.nomadgaming.com/index.php?page=rs2index), a nice thing where all the different aspects of the game has been placed here to help those with questions on certain areas of the game..., you will find Smithing, Mining, Crafting section and see links to free area mining maps (http://www.nomadgaming.com/index.php?page=rs2freemine) as to where what is and also a members area mining maps (http://www.nomadgaming.com/index.php?page=rs2memmine)..

there are a total of 4 rocks in all of runescape, 2 in the heros guild and 2 north of the lava maze in the wildy so f2p only get 2 rocks in deep wildy, beyond teleporting i think, so you almost have to be p2p and in the heros guild to mine runite

dont let that stop you from mining, there are tons of mith and addy rocks, you can make tons of money off of it, rune is a long way away so dont let it stop you

ya but fishing is easy money. but i wanna get high lvled in everything.

well, i for 1 am 3 levels off mith, and 4 levels from smithing it, so my advice is to continue mining till at least mith, and get ur smith to mith pl8, cuz u can sell those for 5k apiece

Well, I mine runite ores to make money. I mine about 40 ores daily. So that's about 440k (at 11k each) for 1-2 hours work.

...which is bloody awesome! Even at 10k each it would only take 100 runite ores to cash a million gold pieces (only, eh).

Be a pain to go into deep wildy if you're f2p just to mine it, too far away from a bank and too risky.

It's not to risky for 200-250k per load of 20 ore, I've seen guys mining out there.

yup, the risk is minimal if you know how to do it right. Get scouts or friends to help.
