willow branches?

i have grown a willow tree but how do i get willow branches to make fruit baskets?

dunno, but check farming guide, or check rune hq for the answer

I think you have to get snippings from the tree to make baskets or something like that...try using different farming tools with the tree until something works :p

Weaving

Vegetable sacks can be made by weaving 4 jute fibres on a loom. Fruit baskets can also be woven on a loom using 6 willow branches together, which can be obtained by cutting young branches from player-grown willow trees with a pair of secateurs.

i used secateurs on my tree and it said it didnt need pruning, so i guess that means you can only get branches if the tree gets sick =[

is it your tree you planted? hence farming.. planted a willow tree in the tree patch.. I am gonna go try it on my willow to see.. never knew trees to get sick.. but guess possible..

yes it is my tree, trees get sick because the farming guide says you cure them by pruning them with secatures

hmm but once full grown they shouldn't get sick anymore.. guess they could get sick if a farmer was not watchign it as it grows.. I have had to prune a bush but got leaves when I did..

UPDATE...

You need to grow your own of course and it is brnaches form a very young willow tree, otherwise the branches would have grown to think to be weavable..
