Hmmm...I think I trained around the Jail in Draynor Village to get mine up to 40. Took a long time though.
but only problem with that is no getting your arrows back unless you use laws and airs, but dont think that is worth it, but do whatever you thinkn will work best

Umm...I dont know where you are thinking of but you can get you arrows back. All you have to do is walk around the fence and pick them up...

im a high enough lvl that the guards dont attack me, but are they eisier to kill then the guards on top of varrock palace?

In my opinion they are much easier. The guards in Varrock use stab attacks if they get to you, which are a rangers weakness. However the guard in Draynor usually use crush attacks which ranger armor gives the best defence against.

im not worried about that, that is why bariers are a must, so i dont get attacked, i like the drops of varrok guards better

Well sometimes the guards work their way around barriers, so you should always be ready for that. And yes, the Varrock gaurds have much better drops but they are harder to kill than the ones in Draynor (in my opinion anyway) You should just try out both spots and see which one you like better. Varrock is usually crowded with people killing guards, thats why I chose Draynor.
im good at this, r u p2p or f2p?

im p2p, srry, forgot to mention that
ok, well i suggest that you go and train at the big building in barb village, bring sum food because sometimes they att u witha ranged throwing axe, but wont hit more than 5 or so
have fun, and when u get to 50 or so do waterfall quest and shoot at fire giants :p
almost 70 range w00t!

have fun, and when u get to 50 or so do waterfall quest and shoot at fire giantsI put that quest off to my last day of members, did it just so I could do Legends. Now I'm kicking myself, that's a great ranging spot.
a person there (lvl 62 it think) got a left half, and my freind thats all ways there with dharoks is gettin meds recently every so often
edit2: i also get fast xp, but theres always sumtimes busy, and just change serv im SURE youll find a good serv, also when i first became p2p i did that quest and i got 3 range lvls that day (65 - 68) now im almost 70, from gettin 69 recently yesterday if i wasnt at sum gladz events

the spot looks good from research, possible key halfs, clue scrolls (lvl1) and dragon shield half (not holding my breath for that one)

the dwarfs was where i was traing originally, but they drop junk, then i went to varrock guards on the palace roof, then to barbs in the bar, and now im lvl 40 with full green hide, almost 3k steel arrows and a yew short on order from michelelee whenever we are on at the same time. so, does that change where the best training spot is?

Try out the guild, see what you think. I personally love it since I can get quite a bit exp there in a short time. When you get points, you get 1/10 into tickets and 1/2 into range exp. So, a score of 500 would be 50 tix and 250 exp in around 10-15 secs. You'll have to pay 200gp per time, but it's 10 shots. And from what I've calc'ed, if you score atleast 280 each time, you can trade your tickets for rune arrows to sell to be "even".
