Holy Grail Quest

I am currently working on holy grail quest and cant talk to merlin...
i did merlins crystal quest and have x-calibur but when i try to talk to merlin he is inside the crystal on the 3rd floor...WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?

Theres a guide area on here... but im sure thats not needed. Instead of going to the crystal room, theres another room on the same floor, you should be able to see him walking around. Thats the one you need to talk too. (Normally the door is locked but I think it opens up when you free him)
