Lumbridge swamps. That place has 7 coal rocks. Basically not to hard to mine coal. Way better than barb village with 4 rocks...

ATM I need 205,011 exp for lvl 81

Roughly translates to 10,930 coal needed ... if I just do all steel. (bext exp per coal).

hmm thats plenty of smithing time......not to mention smelting....aye...i hate smelting....anywho, at least things seem to be picking up a tad for ya? i mean you're a lot more well known on the site for your lvl now (although ive always thought of Numd as a high lvl smither....although youre also a high lvl theiver...but i think of abbes1 as the high lvl thiever on this site) and people are giving you ore to smelt....although its not 10k, its still better than nothing!

yet another question...do you wait until you get all 10k coal from shay? or do you get it in parts...because 10k coal takes quite a while go get...well at least for me...because for some reason even though im a decently high lvl in mining, people 15-17 lvls below me manage to outmine me......
anywho, if you do wait long periods of time until you get your next load of coal... at least you have time to lvl other skills =)
while im waiting to get loads of coal to smith...well i usually go mine to get loads of coal to smith...so im sorta stuck in a an unending cycle....

maybe you should lvl up mining yourself one of these days...only lvl 68, by far your lowest ranking skill...you should at least get lvl 70 =P

@ Crazy- It takes 40 mining to mine coal. If you only need 18 ill get you some right quick.
@Ivanr77- Ive watched Shay mine. Its fast. Still, 10k coal will take awhile...
Back to the topic. I was right. Is there a limit? Cause I could use ALOT of stuff.

I have the same problem sometimes Ivanr77. I've had level 45 miners undermine me recently. And 10k coal does take a good while to get, but it's worth it 'cause it helps me and numd at the same time. Plus, I like mining :)

I usually wait till I have most if not all and waste a day (or two or three) to do it all at once.

In the meantime I level other skills. I plan on getting level 70 mining pretty soon I think, just to have it. :)

Also, I havent seen him on for awhile but Mustang can smith full mith, and he could probably use the exp a little more than Skull. Although I think you have to provide the mith ores too...

yeah, skull...What rune items can you make at that level? anything at all?
Also, maybe they are gonna extend some stats to over 100 and add dragon for members only smithing :D

1st, I thought coal mining was level 30, not 40.
2nd, that one guy is a waste of a brain...
3rd, Ivan: I could help you out in smithing. I have lvl 32-ish so I can do coal.
4th, Skull: if Ivan doesn't want help, I could supply you with some coal (not like shay).

@ skull: I'm gonna get the coal necessary, but could you smith me an adam long. As soon as I see you or the others on, I'll get the coal to them. Since you are being nice, I'll get you more than just the normal 12. :) Thanks much skull!
