Basically we want JaGeX to give the option of opening up houses to our friends list. This has huge clan benefits as mentioned on the topic.

A clan house where clan members can crash and feel at home. You know, a place to call yours. Clan members coul train combat or raise a skill or make items, or mass for p2p trips and wars, and the portals could give members easy access. Really it would be great.

Also the throne room on the upper floor. Just think about it! A place for leaders, council and mods to sit in a formal place, with the leaders on the throne and the senior members surrounding him, making decisions for the clan. It is a very very powerful scene.

And what about dimplomacy!
Imagine inviting another clan leader over for a meal while you talk clan relations! Wouldn't that be great fun? Hell, you might even want to declare a war seated at a table!

Clan houses would be great. I am CERTAIN, with enough replies to this appeal, JaGeX will do it.
They just need to see that there are a large number of people who will want this badly, and will make it a priority.

Please do it now, before the housing system becomes solid.

well what is stopping them from using personal houses for that same thing?

It is a personal house, the point is that you could choose an option to only let your 'friends' in, which could be used to effectively limit it to one clan. Or they could add a house list like a friends list of people you allow in your house at any time, or something. :rolleyes:

what if that clan system is abused? a lot of writing to jagex about people messing up a house could urge them to end sharing. not all people in a clan are trustworthy especially since people could join a clan just to get stuff from the house.

not to mention if Jagex endorsed clans they would give you an option for a prepended tag for your clan. I dont believe they favor them...

what is a prepended tag? technically they r just endorsing letting ur friends in to do ad they wish in the house, not necessarily clans. my idea for making clans better on rs would b allowing users to create there own groups in the freinds list (same # available as currently). this would allow you to message you clan or different group of friends at once, not individually. you could also put people in a different group (sort of like aim) so you know who they are or what u do with them (pker group, people who buy ur stuff, poeple selling, even the nomad group).

at the moment, u have to be inside ur own house for people to come inside, and if they know ur name any1 can come inside. pretty much every1 in every clan wants it so we can have a house for the whole clan that any of the people on the house list can enter at any time and people that rnt on the house list cant come in uninvited. i cant see how any1 can abuse the system, all we r asking is that we have a bit more specific selection on who is allowed into the house

not anyone and everyone can go in your house if your in it... only way for anyone to go in is if your private chat is on same if anyone wanted to pm you... but if on friends then only people on your friend list can go in if your in there, or if friends is off then no one can visit you if in there...

Your private chat is basically your house list...

umm......I both support and unsupport this motion. Cause in all technicality, you can make a house your clan house, just have your p2p clan members be able to attend, and vuala.\, you can have meetings etc, i've already done it with my clan, well the p2p ones atleast. But bleh, i dont think jagex will go for this idea regardless if thousands or more of players post for it, cause jagex will just refuse the motion, for the reasons i stated above.

thats a bug abuse.

michele i didnt realise it worked that way because im not even going to raise my construction, but, that still restricts ur friends list so u can only have clan members on it otherwise non clan member friends could come along.

we dont know that jagex will say no to this, that is why we r trying to get all people in clans to reply to it. if we can get enough ppl then they may consider it.

ask urself this too, if they dont like clans they why did they reflatten greater demons and make it multi attack again when all ppl that are in clans complained.

because they realized it was stupid to have a hilly non-multi section in the middle of a flat multi section of the wild, I read the post MOD Paul made about it and he didnt mention clans in the least, some members did, but he didnt. Whether its a clan thing or not, it is pretty stupid to put that there, so they fixed it...

well i think its slightly convenient that gds is the most commonly used place for wars and pks.

just to say aswell, this isnt my idea about the houses, its lordys. i posted it here because i believe it could help us and because it could have used a bit more publicity, especially since i know how active our clans section is. ;)
