First, I added the chapel. When you're rotating the room you can't see the place markers inside it, so when I positioned the room I put it at an odd 90-degree angle than what I wanted. Also, because of the house limitations, I can't put it in at the angle I want. No big deal, I'm going to switch it with the bedroom and it'll fit perfectly. But first, I wanted to change the skills hall to a quest hall on the ground floor.

That meant deleting the quest hall on the second floor so I could change the skill hall on the ground floor. When I changed it, I got no rotation options and the stairway is in BACKWARD. I changed it back to a skill hall so the stairway would be right, and it's still BACKWARD.

I need to make two new quest halls once I figure out how to position them, 25k for each. Then I need to make the chapel and bedroom, 15k + 50k. And that's on top of what I just spent already.

Getting my smithing to lvl-84 is going to cost me 7.1mil, I can't afford this crap. All Jagex had to do was design a master room that could be used instead of thirteen overpriced pieces of detritus, half of which I don't want and only two of which are actually USEFUL (not counting gardens and dungeons). The only thing I really like out of this update is the 44 easy but expensive levels I've gotten up to this point, and the heraldic sets which need work anyways. Why the hell can't Jagex actually have an update that DOESN'T make you want to smash your monitor?!

/end rant, I'm going to go focus my anger on finishing my homework.

the angle of the halls is dependent upon what angle you build it from. if you dont have a room to position it from yet just build a path of gardens at only 1k each to go in from the right way, then just delete the gardens. i had the same problem wanting to turn my dining room around, i had to delete the study above that just to torn my dining room 180 degrees. while plain leveling the stat is not that expensive building a house is. :(

It's a WASTE. I'm going to finish this up later today and I'm not adding any rooms to my house until Jagex manages a collective IQ score above -10. In the RuneScape forums, the thread in Recent Updates for PoHs is 2,044 posts long, mostly spam. In the Rants forum, the thread for PoHs is 4,112 posts. From all I can tell, the Suggestions forum is a huge joke.

Thanks for the info Mijna. :o

It's called learning how to use the skill. When you first started smithing you didn't really know the best way to level it or how to level it up immediately, it took you some time to get used to it and figure out a proper pathway. The same applies to every skill, including construction. It's a learning process, the only difference with construction and every other skill is that it involves money, whereas smithing, for instance, involves bars that you could potentially "waste."

yeah, and it is always more discouraging if you lose time and money, instead of just time.

I'm sorry, the emotions that lead to this post really have nothing to do with the topic. I'll let it as it is just because the points are valid and I don't have time to edit it, but I'm sorry for my tone.

Thank you for the information Mijna, I think I know how I'm going to work around it now.

All told this is going to cost me another 110k, lol. Ah well, I'll fix it up tonight.

The chapel is going to bug me though, why can't you line up the center isle north to south instead of just east to west? :p

If they let you zoom out a little more in house or took you to an over view like in tele room in mage training arena when you were adding a room houses would be alot easier to set up right.
