TokKul is the only form of money accepted at the shops. You can get TokKul by killing the enemies in the area, by playing/winning in the Fight Pit and Fight Cave, or by selling items to the shops.
The enemies that roam around the city are:
Tzhaar-Hur (level 74)
If your Combat level is higher then 74 the other TzHaar enemies will protect this one.
