One Small Favor Quest Guide

If you're fresh to Shilo Village after solving the mystery (or even if you did it some time ago), you may like to check out Yanni Salika's antiques shop. He's a busy chap revamping antique items, checking out new stock from potential adventurers and maybe he'll have a small(1) favour to ask of you? Probably nothing particularly large, Yanni isn't a demanding(2) person, should hardly take you any time(3) at all really, something to do when you have a spare moment. That's assuming there aren't any complications.

1: - Perception of the word "small" may be open to interpretation.
2: - In a recent vote, Yanni Salika was only voted the second most demanding person in Shilo Village.
3: - As everyone knows, time is relative.

  1. Start at Shilo Village, Antique dealer Yanni Salika. He asks you to get a piece of Mahogany from a Forester.
    ( Done)

  2. Talk to a Forester (located along the jungle just south of Shilo Village). He says he would but his axe needs sharpened first. He asks you to take the axe to Captain Hanks.
    ( Done)

  3. Talk to Captain Shanks (west of shilo village on the boat) He doesn't want to be bothered with it but offers to give you a boat ride (for a small fee) to port sarim to take it to Brians axe shop.
    ( Done)

  4. Talk to Brian at the axe shop in port sarim. He needs you to talk to Aggie the witch before he'll do it.
    ( Done)

  5. Talk to Aggie the witch (in draynor village just north of the bank). She needs you to find her apprentice (Jimmy), he is lost between Lumbridge and Draynor.
    ( Done)

  6. Go to the HAM dungeon. Talk to Jimmy he's locked in a cell to the south east.
    ( Done)

  7. Talk to Johanhus (in same area as Jimmy). He wants chickens, then he'll release Jimmy.
    ( Done)

  8. Go North East of the HAM dungeon and talk to Fred the Farmer. He tells you to go talk to Seth (farm across the river on the road to Varrock).
    ( Done)

  9. Talk to Seth, he needs 5 cages to transport the chickens, and pay Horvik 3 steel bars that he owes him.
    ( Done)

  10. Talk to Horvik (in Varrock - east anvils) He needs 3 steel bars before he'll consider anything for Seth. Give him the bars, then he needs herbal tincture and breathing salts before he'll make the cages. (You'll need 5 pigeon cages from Ardougne, you will be there later in the quest and can get them then.)

  11. Talk to the Apothacary (west side of Varrock, south of the bank). He give you the herbal tincture, but needs an airtight container to put stuff in before he gives you breathing salts.

  12. Talk to Tessie Slipcast (in the pottery hut in Barbarian Village). She needs you to talk to Hammerspike about her debt before she'll make the container.
    ( Done)

  13. Talk to Hammerspike (go to Dwarven Mine, the entrance near barbarian village, keep going west in the tunnels). He wants to become a druid.
    ( Done)

  14. Go to Falador. Fill the bowl with water in a fountain or sink to fill it. Use the bowl of water with a range to get a bowl of hot water. Use the hot water with the tea cup.

  15. Talk to Sanfew (in Taverly herb shop upstairs). Sanfew wants to take a glider to Feldip Hills. He needs you to take a cup of special tea to the Gnome Pilot on White Wolf Mountain. To make the tea add 1 Harralander, 2 Guam Leaf, and 1 Marentil to the cup of hot water. This make a cup of Guthix Rest.

  16. Talk to the pilot on White Wolf Mountain, give him the tea. He needs T.R.A.S.H. from Arnhein to make a lighter glider.

  17. Talk to Arnhein (Catherby docks). He needs a weather report.
    ( Done)

  18. Talk to Pantuwti (in Seers Village, located South west of anvils in building with water symbol). He can't give a weather report because he's concerned about a missing girl, so you need to find her.
    ( Done)

  19. Go to the cave just east of the Fishing Guild, go to the north and east in the cave. Search the thing shaped like a girl stuck on the wall.
    ( Done)

  20. Go talk to Wizard Cromptry in Ardougne (north east of the square, blue checkerboard floor), he needs iron oxide (rust) to do the spell. Head west to one of the buildings south of the northern bank and take 5 pigeon cages from behind the building.

  21. Go talk to the antique dealer on Port Khazard. He needs his matress restuffed with feathers.
    ( Done)

  22. Go talk to Rantz (Chompy Bird Quest Ogre). He says the gnome working on the landing strip scared them all away.
    ( Done)

  23. Head west till you find the landing strip, help the gnome fix the lights. Search each light and you will find a gem. Use a chisel to cut the gem then use the gem on the landing light to fix it. The gems are saphire, opal, jade and red topaz. If you crush a gem the gnome will sell you a replacement for 500gp each.

  24. After fixing the lights talk to the gnome.
    ( Done)

  25. Talk to rantz, he stuffs the matress.
    ( Done)

  26. Give the matress to the Antique dealer he gives you iron oxide.
    ( Done)

  27. Give iron oxide to Wizard Cromptry, he give you a spell scroll to rescue the girl from the wall.
    ( Done)

  28. Head back to the cave by the Fishing Guild. Cast the spell in the room, you mess up the first try and animate a lvl 92 rock creature. Kill it, then recast the spell to rescue the girl.

  29. Go talk to Pantuwti, he still doesn't want to give you a weather forecast. Keep trying the different talk options till finally he admits the weather vane is broken. Go up the ladder (room with spinning wheel) go up ladder again to the roof. Examine/Search the weather vane. Then use a hammer on it and search again.

  30. Take the 3 pieces of the weather vane with 1 bronze bar, 1 iron bar and 1 steel bar and use each piece of weather vane on the anvil to fix them. Go back up to the roof and put the fixed pieces on the weather vane. Talk to Pantuwti again fo a weather forecast.

  31. Give forecast to Arnhein, he sends the stuff to the gnome on White Wolf Mountain.
    ( Done)

  32. Talk to the gnome on the mountain, he says he will take Sanfew to Feldip Hills.
    ( Done)

  33. Talk to Sanfew, he agrees to train Hammerspike.
    ( Done)

  34. Talk to Hammerspike, he changed his mind. He has his 3 level 49 guards attack you. Kill them and he changes his mind and forgets about Tessie's debt.

  35. Talk to Tessie, she gives you piece of clay and you can now make an airtight jar lid. Use the lid with a pot.
    ( Done)

  36. Take the airtight jar to the Apothacary to get the breathing salts.
    ( Done)

  37. Take the breathing salts, herbal tincture (he gave it to you earlier) and 5 pigeon cages to Horvik.
    ( Done)

  38. Horvik turns the pigeon cages into chicken cages.
    ( Done)

  39. Take the chicken cages to Seth the Farmer, he send chicken to the H.A.M. camp.
    ( Done)

  40. Go to the H.A.M. camp they release Jimmy.
    ( Done)

  41. Talk to Aggie.
    ( Done)

  42. Talk to Brian, he scares you then gives you the axe.
    ( Done)

  43. Take the Axe to the Forester, he gives you mahogany.
    ( Done)

  44. Give the mahogany to Yanni Salika.
