Redbeard Frank knows where secret pirate treasure is hidden, it may require some work to persuade him to let you know where though.

Go to the clothing shop in Varrock, buy a white apron. Then, go to Port Sarim, near the north east part of the dock you should see Redbeard Frank, talk to him. Tell him that you are in search of treasure.

Now follow the dock south west, talk to one of the Seaman or the Captain there. Travel to Karamja Island, the trip will cost you 30gp. Once on the island head west to the bar (the first building on the south side of the road). Talk to Zambo, buy one Karamjan Rum from him (30gp).

Leave the bar and go north across the road to the field of banana trees. Pick 10 bananas from the trees. Then leave the field and go east. Go into the building on the north side of the road. Talk to Luthas.

Leave this building and go around the to the east side of it. You should see a crate there. Use the rum with the crate, then use the bananas (be sure to right click then click use with the bananas or else you will eat them and have to get more) to finish filling the crate.

Go back into the building and talk to Luthas again, he will give you 30gp. Head east and talk to the Customs Officer to return to Port Sarim (this trip will cost 30gp).

Once you are back in Port Sarim, follow the dock south and west. You should end up by the food shop. Go inside and put on the white apron, try to open door on the west wall. Wydin will tell you that only employees can go in. Ask if you can get a job.

When you get into the room, search the crates until you find your bottle of rum. Leave the food shop and head north east and talk to Redbeard Frank again. He will give you Hector's key.

Now, go north east to Varrock. Enter Varrock from the southern entrance. The Blue Moon Inn will be the second building on the east side of the road. Go inside, then go up the staircase. Once upstairs, go into the south western room. Use the key with the chest. You will get a Pirate message, read it.

Next, head to Falador. If you do not have a spade, there is one in the building east of the anvils. Go into the park. Go to the statue near the center of the park. Look at the mini map, you can kind of see an "X" infront of the statue. Walk there and use the spade to dig. If it does not work the first time, move a bit and try again. You will be rewarded.
