The cook in Lumbridge has a surprisingly small number of ingredients to hand in his kitchen, possibly as a result of an endless stream of newcomers with light fingers taking anything that isn't nailed down from his kitchen.
Luckily, in the past a kind Cooks Assistant was willing to help him in his culinary duties, but now a problem has appeared that could spell... a Recipe For Disaster!
Almost all members may attempt to solve his tricky predicament, and be rewarded accordingly, but only the very elite of Questers will be able to put paid to his problem permanently!
Throughout the ENTIRE quest teleport runes, Amulet of Glory and such
You will be all over the Runescape world. So be sure to read ahead to figure out what you need in what areas and when!!
This is a long quest with lots of different requirements. It has been broken into different parts: the beginning, 8 mini-quests, and the finish. You can use the links below to jump to a certain part.
Head to Lumbridge to begin your quest by speaking with the Cook in the castle. He will explain how he is wanting to make a great feast like his ancester did and needs your help. You will need the following ingredients:
one Eye of Newt
a "Dirty Blast"
a Rotten Tomato
a glass of Greenmans Ale
*Eye of Newt is sold in the Herblore Shop in Taverly.
*The Dirty Blast is a gnome cocktail. You can get a cocktail book from Hudo along with the ingredients, and if you have not done the cocktail thing with Blurberry you can go talk to him to get all the ingredients for a Fruit Blast at once free. In a shaker mix a pineapple, a lemon, and an orange. Then use with a cocktail glass. Then use a slice of lemon (use a knife with the lemon) with the glass to make a Fruit Blast. Then add ashes to it to make a dirty blast. **If you need the ingredients talk to the Barman at the bar in the Grand Tree, they sell lemons, oranges, and cocktail shakers. Sometimes there is too many people trying to buy the stuff from the ingredient store next to the bar. You must make the Fruit Blast, it can not be bought from the Barman or from another player.
*You can buy a Rotten Tomato from the crate near the cells in the jailer areas in the city. Or if you have time you can even make it by filling a compost bin full of tomatoes and waiting for them to rot.
*You can buy Greenmans Ale from the bar in Yanille.

You need to go speak to his dad located in the under mountain passage. He is the old dwarf. You try to explain to him what happened and he won't give you the Rock Cake recipe. But if you can find out what type of beer he likes it will help.
Head to the bar in Falador and talk to Emily it cost me 200gp to get the recipe. The beer for the dwarf is Asgarnian Ale with a coin dropped in. It will become a Asgarnian Ale (g) that dwarfs love. Make a few he doesn't want just one. It took 6 in row for me, so stock up.. and once he had enough it will do like a cutscene and then he will tell you he could make you the cakes for 100gp and needs milk, flour, egg, and bowl of water. Give the ingredients to the dwarf and he then makes you a cake. You need to wear gloves to pick it up off table. Wearing Ice Gloves will cool the cake when you pick it up. If you do not have Ice Gloves, you'll need to cool the cakes, so go top Ice Mountain, kill a Icefiend (only level 13) and their dying breath will cool the cake.
Head back to Lumbridge to feed the cake to the dwarf there.

You will pick up canister ranging from 1 to 4 doses or dashes you could say.
It is random as to what spices you need to add for Dave to like it. But if you make lots of stews you can try one of one spice and then let him taste it then try 2 of that spice and so on and he will eventually tell you if it is the right one. Then try the next color spice and go from one and up. Keep in mind some spice color might not be used at all. And after while try the spices together with the ones he said was ok at the right amount. Ok, talk to the Cook to learn you need to go see Rantz on how to make a Jubbly Chompy. Rantz is located in the Feldip Hills, on your way there mine a rock from the little mining area there. Talk to Rantz. If you need bellows head up to the cave and get it out of the chest in there.
Head southeast to speak to Rantz again. You will help him make a boat so he can go to Karamaja. Use axe to trim off the roots of the tree. Then talk to Rantz. Use your axe with the tree again to hollow it out. Now talk to Rantz again and he will tell you that you need to get to where he shot his stabby and cook some chompy to lure his kids over.
To do the luring you need chompy bird. You will need to weild your ogre comp and arrows and fill your bellows and go grab 2 frogs. You drop one and kill a chompy bird then use the raw chompy on the iron spit.
You will now have to go to the western/Members side of Karamja Island. Head to the General Store north of Tai Bwo Wannai. Go south west along the beach, you will pass Fanellaman and a boat, keep going south. You will get to a palm tree with an ogre arrow in it next to a plant. Examine the tree, light a fire next to it, and cook the skewered chompy. You will see the ogres with the boat. Board the Ogre Boat and go back to Rantz. Talk to him to find out how to get Jubbly.
You use the last dose in your bellow to inflate the bloated toad into a balloon toad, it automatically uses your rock and ball of wool. Place this down and wait and get the jubbly, same as with the chompy. I took me three tries to get one to appear before my toad deflated. Then take the raw jubbly and use it on Rantz Ogre spit near the cave.
Head to lumbridge and feed it to Skrach.

To make you will add a bucket of milk to a pot of cream. Then add cornflour to the mixture. Add a vanilla pod. To the mixture add the Evil chicken Egg. Sprinkle on top of the brulee some cinnamon. Which is made from Dramen Branch used with Pestle and Mortar. Now you need to get a dragon to flambe the creme brulee.

You will go north to get to the evil chicken, double check your prayer just to be on the safe side. Use Protect from Prayer to kill the Evil chicken and then grab the egg and use it with your brulee mixture then use your cinnamon with the brulee. (NOTE: If you log out in the Evil Chicken lair you will be placed back in the Lost City.)
Now go kill a Black dragon and it will drop a token grab it and leave the area back out through the portal. Now rub the token and a Fairy Dragon will appear granting you a wish and have it flambe your brulee. Once done it will return you back to Zanaris.

Once you finish all the mini-quests you go to a cutscene. You will have to go through portal to finish him off but before you do you need to get prepared for the battle. You have no prayer available to you and your stats drop on one of the bosses. If you die you WILL lose stuff.
The first phase I wore rune and took my dragon long (dds works too) and lots of food and super set. You will be battling: Agrith-Na-Na lvl 146, I melee'd and ate food. If you feel you may be in trouble you can teleport or go back through the portal. And you can leave to go back to bank in the basement through the trapdoor in the kitchen to replenish. And come back where you left off. Don't know if you leave during a battle if there health remains where you got it to or not. I only left in between battles.
Step is Complete.
( Done)
The second one is: Flambeed lvl 149, I kicked him to death since I had my dragon long and he made it to hot to hold, be sure to wear Ice Gloves to be able to wield your weapon.
Step is Complete.
( Done)
The third one was: Karamel lvl 136, now this one drains your stats so you need stat restore. I had tried using a dds on this one and seemed to take forever for me and had worn my rune but since it is magic you should wear range armor. Spells work well against this boss.
Step is Complete.
( Done)
The fourth boss stage was: Dessourt lvl 121, he hit fast and often of 5's and 10's. But was pretty simple. Just melee'd and ate food.
Step is Complete.
( Done)
The 5th one was Gelatinnoth Mother lvl 130, you need to beat her as you did the dagganoth boss. Use the method in which matches the color she turns into. Those are:
White - Air attack
Blue - Water attack
Red - Fire attack
Brown - Earth attack
Green - Ranged
Orange - Melee
Step is Complete.
( Done)
After you defeat this one next up is the Culinamancer himself, he is a lvl 75. He hits hard but he has low hitpoints. So food and super pots will do the trick. I melee him with dds and wearing rune armor. When you finish him it goes to a cutscene which is slightly funny. And then you are brought back from the portal.
