Shadow of the Storm Quest Guide

A sinister group of dark wizards are attempting to summon Agrith-Naar, a demon of exceptional mystical power.

Rather than try to prevent them, a Saradomist priest asks the player to help summon the demon and then kill it once and for all.

But all is not as it seems...

Start Point:

Al Kharid

To start:

Speak to Fr. Reen

Quest difficulty/length:

Intermediate/Medium

Minimum requirements:

• Must have completed Demon Slayer and The Golem
• Lvl 30 Crafting
• Must defeat a level 100 post-apocalyptic demon

Silverlight
Black Dragon Hide (Black Wizard Robes and Hat work too. I wore black mystic.) (Must be at least 3 pieces of black clothing)
Empty Vial
Black Mushroom (located down the stairs in Uzer to the right of the stairs)
Pestle and Mortar
Silver Bar
Gold for Shantay Passes and Carpet Rides
Amulet of Glory is useful as well for faster travel
Waterskins

1. Go talk to Father Reen, south of the Al Kharid bank, to begin the quest. He will send you to Uzer to find Badden.
   
   Step is Complete.

2. Once you get to Uzer talk to Father Badden. I then walked down to talk to Evil Dave and my outfit was evil but Silverlight too shiny. Use Silverlight with the Black Ink made from the black mushroom when used with pestle and mortar, don’t forget to have empty vial in your inventory when you do so.
   
   Step is Complete.

3. Go back talk to Evil Dave and then he takes you go see Denath. It would be a good idea to make a note of the incantation he tells you, you will need it later. Talk to Matthew, he will explain about a book. Next, you need to talk to a member to receive the Demonic Sigil Mould. Use it with a bar of silver at furnace to make Demonic Sigil. (Al Kharid would be the closest furnace.)

4. Go back to Uzer. Talk to the golem and he will tell you what he saw and that the book was hidden in a broken kiln. Go around to the kilns and look in and you will find the book. It is random to which one it is in. Found mine in the kiln west of the crates.

5. Go back and talk to Matthew, then he will say Denath is almost ready. Once Denath says he is ready and tells you to get in your spot, click the Demonic Sigil to lead the chant, Nahudu, Agrith-Naar, Camerinthum, Tarren, and Caldar. (The chant may change from player to player, try it forwards and backwards.) Once the cut scene is done pick up the sigil and go and talk to Evil Dave to retrieve Eric’s sigil then go outside to talk to Father Reed, then Father Badden and then the Golem. The Golem will not do so since he is programmed not to go in the portal. Go back down the stairs and get the Strange Implement in the corner and go and use it on the golem. Then get ready for a battle.

6. I decided to go change outfits and get more food at this time. I put on the Black Dragonhide for protection against Magic since it turns out that depending on what protect form you use the demon will use the other.

7. Go back in and talk to Matthew and you will begin the chant. Just reverse the order you did the first time. You will get a cut scene then battle the demon. If you use Protect from Melee the demon will fight you with Magic, use Protect from Magic and he will fight you with melee. You can battle him with any weapon but you need the silverlight to kill him on the final blow.
   
   Once you defeat the demon the quest is then complete. You may need to unequip Silverlight to finish.

10000 Any Combat Stat Exp (no prayer choice)

Special is a jump in air with a 360 spin then hit enemy, uses 50% of special attack power bar.
