Runescape - Spirits Of The Elid Quest Guide

Spirits Of The Elid Quest Guide

Thanks go to michelelee for writing this quest guide

The people in the desert village of Nardah have a problem: their town well has dried up and any water they try to bring back to the town from the river mysteriously disappears before they can get it back. The villagers suspect they have been cursed in some way. Can you unravel what is going on and save the village?

Start Point:
The village of Nardah, Southeast of Pollnivneach
To start:
Speak to Awusah the mayor of Nardah
Quest difficulty/length:
Intermediate/Medium
Minimum requirements:
  • Level 33 Magic
  • Level 37 Ranged
  • Level 37 Mining
  • Level 37 Thieving
  • Be able to defeat three Level 75 monsters
Members only:
Yes
Items needed:
Tele-grab Runes (1 Air & 1 Law)
Needle and Thread
Any Spear (it has all 3 needed fighting: slash, stab and crush)
Pickaxe
Bow and Arrows (I used only one)
Knife
Bullseye Lantern (I think any light source)

  1. Head to the village Nardah located SE of Pollnivneach to talk to Awusah. (I took carpet ride to Nardah from South Pollnivneach.) Talk to Awusah on the east side of town to learn they have fell under a curse. Their well dried up and water from the river would dry up before reaching the village. You learn about Rokuh and his water stall that he has for selling water at outrageous prices. He goes on to mention the Sardomin priest who came form north and then was found dead. Then the curse began. He says for you to look around the town to see if you find anything.
    ( Done)

  2. Head north to Ghaslor the Elder and tell him you are trying to figure out the curse, he mentions only god and the river spirits would know. Which they’re the guardians of the source of the river. You receive a scroll about the last attempt to search for the spirits.
    ( Done)

  3. Head west to the museum to talk to the custodian and then search the cupboards for robes and tele-grab the key. Use needle on the robes to repair them to be wearable again. Grab from the bank to the south of the town, rope and have the robes on hand as well. You will need armor and a weapon preferably a Spear since it has each of the required attack method for killing the golems.
    ( Done)

  4. Head north to the River’s source, it is basically where the river begins there is a waterfall with a root that you use your rope on to enter cave.
    ( Done)

  5. Put on your Robes so you an get through the door. Now you will fight the 3 golems. Go north to the Northwest door. This is the Black Golem you use Crush setting to defeat him. Go in and use your bow and shoot the target behind the water channel to get water flowing. The next door to the east of this one is the Grey Golem and you use Slash to beat this one. Use your pick in this room on the pile on the water channel to get the water flowing in here. Move to the next door to fight the White Golem which you use Stab to defeat. You will just need our thieving experience to clear the block without triggering the spikes to get the water flowing.
    ( Done)

  6. Head back to a set of double doors across from where you entered. Follow till you come to Nirrie, Tirrie and Hallak and talk to them. Tell them you are a emissary from the people of Nardah and tell them about the fountain. You learn it was them who withheld the water and who killed the priest. You ask if there is someway for the villagers to get the water turned back on and you learn they threw out a statue. So as long as they remain without a statue they will endure the curse. You go back to talk to the mayor.
    ( Done)

  7. Go to the mayor to relay what you learned. Head to the crevice to the west to look for the statuette. Be sure to still have your rope and climb down the crevice. You enter a room full of snakes and to the north is a door. Open it and talk to the genie. You will learn he came across the statue by it falling on his head and so you offer to make a deal for it. The genie wants to swap it for the mayor’s sole, you agree to it.
    ( Done)

  8. In the mayor’s house was a pair of shoes, use your knife on them and you get the sole’s. Go back to the genie and you do the swap. Head back to the village with the statue.
    ( Done)

  9. Go to the museum and set the statuette on her Plinth.
