In Jungle Potion, the Shaman Trufitus communed with the gods to determine the fate of his people.
Now Timfraku, the Chief of Tai Bwo Wannai, wishes to see his people and family return to the abandoned village. Help a depressed fisherman, encourage a raging hunter and satiate an eccentric priest in this extreme test of aptitude and patience!
High level Agility and Herblore is a distinct advantage

Talk to Timfraku, he may be a bit rude but keep trying... You can even mention that Trufitus sent you and tell him about how the village was never cursed and so on. He will go on to be very thankful what you done so far. If you ask So far? Then he will ask one more thing of you.

You are asked to deliver the good news to his 3 sons: Tamayu, Tinsay and Tiadeche. You are to return them to the village.

Tamayu is located at the mines just to the south east of the village. You tell him that the village is safe and that his father requests for him to return but he says he is not to step foot back in the godforsaken village until he has slain Shaikahan (Lev 83). Talk to him again and find out more.. eventually you will ask when he will and be asked to go on the next hunt. You will see him fight and not be able to win. He tells you he can't do enough damage with that spear and that the beast heals to quickly.

Now you need to make a poison. To do so you need to talk to Lubufu located north west of the tavern in Brimhaven. He is near the fishing spot. Talk to him by asking who he is and then he will tell you to go away and then talk to him again. You'll learn that not cooked right the Karambwan can be quite poisonous. Keep chatting with him and he will eventually tell you the bait and where to get it. You are then suppose to go south of the Tai Bwo Wannai village to Holy Lake and catch 20 Karambwanji. You use a small net to catch them.
(NOTE: Be sure to catch a few extra, you will need some for bait for yourself plus an extra one for later in the quest.)

Once you hand over the 20 fishies, you then ask about the Karambwan and then he will eventually ask you to be his apprentice, say yes and he will teach you a new fishing technique along with the vessel used to catch them. To use the vessel you need the bait, then use bait with the vessel. Once you catch one go cook it (stove north east from fishing spot), then grind the cooked octo with mortar and pestle to make paste. Use the paste with your spear.

Take the spear to Tamayu and give it to him. Also give him the agility potion as well. You can then ask to go see his next fight, he will say does damage and animal real sick. Give him ANOTHER agility potion and he will kill the lion. (Note: if you gave him a 4 dose Agility potion you will not have to give him another) Once he kills the lion he will agree to come back home. While in the vicinity kill a monkey by using range and have Tamayu skin it for you.

Next son is Tinsay which is on Cairn Isle. Located south of the village to the west, it is the island where you had to take the remains from jungle quest. Once you get across the bridge to talk to Tinsay you tell him the good news. He says he will return once he fixes the tribal statue. The statue is located in the village but he is needing you to fetch the supplies he needs to fix it.
He says he needs Karamaja Rum with banana in it. You will slice the banana with a knife and use the sliced banana with the bottle of rum.
He now asks for a seaweed monkey skin sandwich. Use the seaweed with the monkey skin and then give it to Tinsay.
Next is he needs burnt jogre bones marinated in Karambwanji.
To burn the jogre bones you need to use them with a furnace. (You can use the one in Shilo Village for 20gp if you have completed the Shilo Village Quest.)
Then use the mortar and pestle with the raw karambwaji to make paste. (Be sure to use a raw Karambwaji.)
Use the paste on jogre bones.
Cook on a range (there is one in brimhaven).
(**HELPFUL HINT: While you are in Brimhaven cooking the jogre bones stop by the fisherman and drop your vessel and tell him you lost yours and that the Karambwan stole it. Then once you get the new one pick up your old one. Be sure to go through the dialogue quickly. Then go ahead and head to the 3rd brother Tiadeche who is located to the east across the log to the north edge by a fishing hole. So then you can finish up the 2nd brother and get further faster with the 3rd.)

Give the bones to Tinsay. He goes on about things and says once I help all the brothers and then talk to his father he will be come back to the village.

Tiadeche the 3rd son is located to the east of the village, go across the log, then go north. He will be near the water edge by a fishing spot. Tell him of the good news and that his father wishes him to return. He says he will return only when he catches a Karambwan. Ask him if there is anything you can do to help. Then ask how he is trying to catch them.. then put a karambwanji in the vessel and hand it to him. He catches and gives you his first catch as a thank you. You ask if he is ready to go and he says he can't. That the secrets of the Karambwan are to be unlocked. He asks you to take a vessel to Tinsay so he can study it and so they will be able to craft more of its type. To get another you will need to go see the fisherman and tell him that a karambwan stole it. Take the crafting manual back to Tiadeche and then he will be happy and say he will return to the village once I talk to his father.

Go back to the village and talk to the father, Timfraku. He will say his sons has returned to the village. And to accept his eternal gratitude. You receive some gold coins and 2 quest points. Quest completed.
Going to the village afterwards you can learn the proper cooking technique from Tiadeche for the Karambwan, Tinsay teaches you proper cooking technique for the marinated jogre bones, and Tamayu teaches you fighting technique and gives you a Rune Spear (KP).
