Ali Morrisane - Runescapes self proclaimed greatest merchant is having difficulties. He is selling things at such a rate that he cannot keep his market stall in stock.
Word has it that he is on the lookout for someone to recruit him some help from his home town Pollnivneach, a somewhat anarchic place south of the Shantay pass.

Items needed:
First head to talk to Ali Morrisane, in which is located east of the glider pilot and gem trader in Al Kharid. He will tell you to talk to his nephew and you are able to buy from him desert top, boots, headgear, and fake beard. Use head piece with beard then you can wear it.

Once you are set for the desert, as in waterskins, desert top, bottom, boots, then head south then to the east of the Mining Camp and you will find the town. (NOTE: You can take the magic carpet to get there for 200gp) If you go talk to Ali the mayor he will welcome you and mention how villagers are leaving. He does not have time to help you find Ali’s nephew but says there is plenty who can. Talk to street urchin and he will mention about he disappeared when he may have scammed the 2 gangs and if you befriend them you may learn more.

If you haven’t gotten your desert disguise yet then you can do so from the merchant here in town. Once done go buy 3 beers from Ali the barman. Talk to Ali the drunk and he will mention feuding. Go talk to the two gangs. Ali the operator is to the west of the bar in a roundish building. Talk to him and you will learn how to help stop the feuding. Now go talk to the bandit, I talked to a plain bandit. So now each have to buy the other a camel. So head to the Ali the camel man and buy 2 camels and give one to each gang. I got the pair for 500. Go talk to each again and you will learn they want 10 more.

You decide to join one of the gangs and so now go talk to Ali the operator. He will ask you to join and to prove yourself you need to pickpocket 3 villagers then report back. Pickpocket one then return and ask for help. He tells you to add to it, so go talk to a street urchin and have him distract a villager so you can pickpocket them. A yellow arrow flashes on the one he distracted. Once you pickpocket the villager go back to ali and he will give you a black jack that you use on the 3rd villager and knock them out then pickpocket them. Then return once again to Ali the Operator.

Next you must burglarize the mayors wife jewels. You will be giving keys. You also need to be wearing your gloves now. I was wearing my cooking gauntlets. Hide behind the cactus and then use key with door and search the desk then go upstairs and search the bed then the landscape picture on the wall. You will put in a code 1,1,2,3,5,8.. Look at it like a clock and just click on each arrow that would be the number.. First arrow being one and so on. Take the jewels and then return to Ali.

Final task you are to root out a traitor. Talk to the guards to find out who the traitor is then report whom to Ali the Operator. You will need to talk to a hag on the mountain to the west of the kebab seller, she will make you a poison if you get her a snake and camel dung. I went ahead and got the stuff before seeing her to save a trip. Go to the kebab seller and buy his hot sauce, and then use it in the camel trough and then use bucket with camel dung. To get a snake you will need to go give money to the snake charmer located behind the tavern by using gold with his money pot to get a flute and basket. Then go use a flute with a snake and you will catch one in our basket. Go talk to hag and you will give her snake and then talk to her again and you will get the poison.

Now to poison the traitor, go to the tavern and talk to Ali the barman and find out where his drink is. Go use the poison with the drink (actually table), then return to Ali the Operator. You’ll tell him deed is done and he will feel you worthy and that the boss wants to see you. You talk to him then have to fight a level 75 guard.. I had no problem, wearing desert robes and had my Dragon Scimmy and 5 bass.

Now go talk to a villager they will be mad and tell you to fix the mess and that they saw the bandit leader to the north. I went to the kebab seller and grabbed food before I talked to him. Talked to the bandit leader and fought another guard then to the leader again. Talked to a villager then to the mayor.

The mayor will tell you about the nephew and for you to apologize to Ali M for how he treated his family. You go back and talk to Ali M and learn it all was a trick to get visitors to the town.
